2007 Spring Trend Report by Jennifer Thomas
This spring is all about variety and keeping it fresh. From bright florals with a pinch of punk to clean menswear lines with a feminine touch, it’s time to mix and match, push the envelope and get noticed. Experiment with bright colors, shapes and fabrics. Accessories are no exception. From headbands to handbags, don’t be afraid of new patterns, shapes and colors.

Punked Up Floral
Flowers are getting punked this season with the addition of thick patent belts, cropped blazers, skinny jeans and sexy pencil skirts. These aren’t your tired, meek florals of the past, either. Look for bold geometric flower prints or delicate vintage-inspired patterns. Strap on a pair of stiletto heels with buckles or zippers to create the perfect blend of sweet and tough.

Rainbow Bright
Colors pop this season and vibrant yellows, pinks, purples and blues are screaming to be seen. Whether on a fiery red knit cardigan paired with a muted cream dress or a vivid violet tunic pared with black stretch leggings, these colors are begging to be flaunted. Stick to one single bright piece with mellow accessories or vice versa to avoid overkill.

Menswear!
Ladies, it sounds more intimidating than it really is.
