1. What are the terms and conditions for use of the Crossroads Fashion Photo Contest Gallery?
Please read our terms and conditions. As defined in the agreement, we reserve the right to remove the photos and accounts of anyone who posts inappropriate material, copyright infringement, or pornography.
2. What can I submit to the Contest?
Crossroads is looking for photos which show the most current, attractive presentation of fashionable clothing. Photographs will also be evaluated on the basis of originality, creativity, composition and overall quality.
Check out our website, blog, Facebook page and Pinterest boards to see the fashion we feature. Your photos are not required to use items purchased at Crossroads, but we’d love to see clothes, shoes and accessories that are hot right now. Show us your style!

Enter either black-and-white or color photos. Horizontal or vertical orientations are both OK. You may upload up to 3 photos total per year.
3. What should I NOT submit to the Contest?
If you did not take the photo, or do not have the photographer and model’s permission, and the model’s parents permission for model’s under 18, please do not post it to the Fashion Photo Contest Gallery.
Also, your photos may not have been previously published, or have publication pending.
4. How do I submit a photo?
All submissions to the Crossroads Fashion Photo Contest will be made via our website at http://crossroadstrading.com/. To submit photos to the Contest, create an account with a login and password. Upon successful account creation, you will have access to the application form. The form can be saved at any time regardless of how much of it is completed; when you return and log back into your account, the form will display previously entered data. When you have completed all the required fields, a “Submit” button will appear allowing you to send the completed entry for review.
5. How do I prepare a photo?
If you are using a digital camera, please take your original photo in the highest resolution your camera allows. If you are using a traditional camera, make an 8×10″ print and scan it at 300ppi. Prize-winning photos may be used in print advertising so to be considered for a prize, you must be able to provide a high resolution file.
If you do not follow these specs, your photos will not upload properly. To prepare your photo for judging, create a second file from your original:
– no larger that 7MB file
– JPG format
– RGB mode (not CMYK)
– Do not add any text to your image. Do not add copyright, signature or watermark.
– Rotate your photo to the correct orientation before uploading
– No symbol characters in your file name please. Just numbers and letters.
See your photo editing software for instructions on resizing photos.
Once your photo is prepared for upload, follow the instructions in item 6. You will not be able to remove photos once uploaded, so please be careful to follow the guidelines regarding uploads.
6. How do I upload my photo(s)?
–Log in, or create your account.
–Go to the “Upload” page. Click on the “Browse button” to find your photo on your computer. The “Choose file” dialog box will open. Navigate to the location on your computer where your photo is located, select it, click “Open”. To complete the process, click on the “Upload” button. Note: you may only upload one photo at a time.
7. What about Release forms?
You must obtain both a photographer’s permission and model’s permission (for every model) to be considered for a contest prize. If the model is under 18, a parent/guardian permission must be submitted.

8. How long will it take my photo to show up in the Gallery?
Your photo should appear in the Gallery one to two working days after it was entered, because Crossroads will be reviewing each photo to be sure the content is appropriate. If there is a problem with your entry, we will contact you by email.
