Items of the Week: West Hollywood

Our West Hollywood buyer Natalia employs the less-is-more methodology perfectly in this outfit. Prim, sleek, but definitely not boring, sometimes fashion is all in the details, no? We love the thick straps and subtle pattern on these Calvin Klein heels, the body hugging nature of this Prada top, and the casual yet refined look of these black shorts. It’s just the kind of effortless, chic dress that we all aspire to (well, most of us…I’m looking at you MK Olsen!).

Closet Challenge: 1 Dress, 5 Days

crossroads melrose designer dress

If you love our Melrose Ave. store, Dina is probably one your main reasons – she’s definitely one of ours. ;)

I mean, there’s just no denying she conquered the “1 Dress, 5 Days” challenge. Starting with an Elizabeth & James shift dress for $42.50, she created 5 equally lust-worthy outfits by swapping shoes and a little bit of ingenious tucking and layering.

We’re in awe of how she seamlessly played with boho and quirky looks with a few key accessories like a turban headband, a bow belt, and knee socks. Naturally, she also rocked Los Angeles casual-cool like no other with a denim shirt and gold sunnies.

So, we hope you’re inspired to try dressing up your favorite dress a little differently: sometimes it’s all in the details!
