Maybe you’re not gutsy enough to wear a tribal print romper or a big sun hat, but when the thermometer hits the 70s, as it did today, it’s time to pull out your big guns. Cruising through the beautiful city of Berkeley, it seemed as if all the students- both guys and girls- had made a practical but bold wardrobe move – colored jeans. They’re onto something for sure. While updating your wardrobe, a pair of colored jeans manages to comfortably keep up with your busy schedule while offering your outfit some much needed springtime oomph. Whether you prefer brights, demure pastels or earth tones, some of our blogger friends show you how colored denim seems to have made a resurgence just in the nick of time. Welcome back, sunshine.
1. How are these for some blue jeans? If you’re hesitant about plunging into color jean territory full speed ahead, that’s okay – baby steps. Try some colored jeans in a simple blue.
2. Personally, I love pastel jeans. They give off a vibe of cool confidence without screaming color. Try them with a matching top for a fashion forward monochrome look.
3. Another way to pare down your colored pair is to go for earth tones – burgundy, mustard, burnt orange and forest green.

4. If you rock the bright bolds and neons too, I salute you. If you don’t but you’re eager to, the trick is to keep the rest in neutral colors like white, black, gray and ivory.
