Just when you’ve settled into fall, the temperature dips and lets you know that winter is officially on its way. But don’t fret about those chilly days ahead: this is an opportunity to layer all of your favorite pieces!

Time to get inspired by the change of season. Here are some winter-ready examples pulled straight off the racks of our Fillmore Street store in San Francisco.

Cobalt & Leather

Combine the vivid color of cobalt with the punk rock sensibility of black leather for a classy but edgy look. Lindsay added pearls for a feminine feel and then topped off the look with a pair of black Ash boots and a black leather Francesco Biasia purse with zipper details.

Same Color; Different Hues

Upgrade a monotone look by wearing the same hue in several shades. Playing with textures and different hues makes a warm impression, like Kate’s knitted beanie and animal-print scarf. She has paired this mix of brown pieces with a show-stopping gold hardware-studded bag by Rebecca Minkoff.

Tapered Pants & Emerald Green

Tapered pants look amazing with most heels and can be dressed up or down easily. Liz is wearing stunning black silk tapered pants with ankle booties and a comfy knit. To keep the ensemble from being colorless, she has added emerald green accessories. This beautiful jewel-toned Rebecca Minkoff purse pulls it all together.

Walter tapered black pants – $35, size 2

A Masculine Feel

The menswear trend isn’t limited to just trousers. Liz is wearing a dress with masculine cuts, colors and accessories. Muted tones and rugged fabrics, like leather and tweed, easily go together to pull off this look. Offset a masculine with a beautiful handbag, like this Kate Spade, and luxe YSL boots.
