October 26th, 2017 by Jennifer Beile The Faux Fur Teddy Jacket: A Surprising Fall Trend

It’s that time of year to upgrade your outerwear, and if you’re looking for cozy this season, you’ll find it in the teddy jacket.

Personally, I’ve been trying to make this trend happen for years, so I’m glad that my millennial pink version  will finally be accepted this season!  The teddy jacket is super versatile, offered in many cuts and colors, and almost always made of faux fur, leaving you feeling warm, cozy, and guilt-free. My blogroll and Pinterest timeline are scattered with variations of the teddy jacket, so I’ve rounded up some of my favorite ways to wear it this season.

October 25th, 2017 by Melanie Sutrathada 6 Ways to Wear a Baker Boy Hat This Fall

There’s always that one item we see blogger gals rocking during fashion week that we just can’t wait to get our hands on. This fall, it’s the baker boy hat, also known as the newsboy or pageboy.

So, how exactly should you style one? Scroll on to see some of our favorite ways to rock the baker boy hat:

baker hat

No one can deny how cute this brown hat is. Style it with a neutral color scheme to make this outfit look cohesive.

Recreate this look by styling a vibrant dress with over-the-knee boots and topping off your outfit with a baker boy hat!

This colorful, patterned co-ord set combined with a baker hat reminds us of our favorite Clueless gal pal, Cher Horowitz. What’s not to love?

The best feature of this hat? Worn with a simple ponytail, it can easily disguise messy hair days. Throw on a matching suit and loafer mules to transition this polished style to the streets.

These hats don’t have to be paired with an over-the-top outfit to look stylish. Keep it simple and chic and pair one with a t-shirt and jeans.

Skip the dad hats and opt for a baker boy hat to elevate your style this fall.

October 23rd, 2017 by Melanie Sutrathada 6 Ways to Style Tights This Fall

Tights are one of the easiest pieces to style during the colder months. If you’re looking to deviate from your usual opaque black tights, you’re in luck! There are so many options to choose from. Take a cue from our favorite fashion bloggers and try these ways to style tights for plenty more outfit choices this fall.

style tights

1. Step out of your comfort zone by picking up a pair of colored tights this season. I love how these maroon tights tie in with the print on the dress to make this look feel cohesive.

2. Spruce up the look of an oversized coat with tights and over-the-knee boots.

3. It’s especially important to dress in layers during the colder months! Stay stylish and warm by wearing thick tights underneath a skirt. For extra warmth and an added dash of style, double up on sweaters and layer on a long coat.

4. There’s no better way to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall than by adding a pair of tights under your shorts. Add a denim jacket and an infinity scarf, and you’re good to go!

5. Ripped jeans get an upgrade when worn with lace leggings.

6. This past year, we saw a spike in fashionistas styling their fishnet stockings under denim, either peeking out from rips or pulled up above the waistline. Want to hop on the fishnet trend? Try a pair underneath a long trenchcoat for an easy, more subdued look.
