February 19th, 2016 by Samantha Weaver WWD MAGIC 2016: What We Bought

Our buying team just returned from WWD MAGIC, and we can’t wait to reveal this year’s new and returning trends for spring and summer 2016. We shopped and walked (6.86 miles in one day, according to my Fitbit) and shopped some more to fill our stores with everything from festival wear to edgy activewear.

So what are some of the new trends to look forward to at Crossroads this summer? Western-inspired pieces like red bandanas, braided denim detailing and structured hats were a big surprise—and a big hit! If the whole prairie look is going a little too far for you, there was a lot of carry-over from 2015, including ’70s-inspired bottoms, bohemian silhouettes, and safari color stories.

Take a look at some of the styles and décor that inspired us at WWD MAGIC 2016!

Crossroads is officially buying for spring! Wondering what we’re buying right now? Look no further. Our Selling Guide is the most up-to-date place to find out which styles and trends we’re currently excited about.

We’re so excited about our selling guide that we’ve created looks to showcase our favorite spring trends using this week’s new arrivals.

’70s InspiredThis spring, look for ’70s inspiration in a printed jumpsuit like our Abstract Print Culottes Jumpsuit ($35). Add a beaded belt and, of course, a fedora ($35).

Stripes + Tote Bags
Stripes will always be a major player in spring fashion. This season, try wearing stripes on stripes—and don’t forget your favorite tote bag!

 Polka Dots + Mini Bags!
Once you put on our Drawstring Polka Dot Dress ($38.50), you’ll be sold. Featuring an oversized fit and midi length, this super comfy dress is a must-have. Just add a bright mini-bag to finish the look.

Romantic + Mules
Our Romantic Lace Dress ($38.50) has been getting a lot of attention on our Instagram page this week, and it’s easy to see why. Finish the look with a pair of pastel mules.

Off the Shoulder + Athletic Shoes
Two of my favorite trends this season all in one! I’ve been gushing all week about the new pair of sneakers I picked up at our newest store in Boulder, CO, and I love how they pair with our Off the Shoulder Mini Dress ($17.50).

Shop these pieces in stores this coming week!

APRIL 22, 2015 BY JENNIFER BEILE Round Up: Coachella Style, Part Deux

We’re going back to Coachella once more! If you were unable to make it to the desert festival this year, you are either reveling in the Coachella photos and write-ups or have disappeared from social media to take a breather from it all. Luckily for you, I am in the former group and I’m still soaking up the festival fashion from this year.

Take another peak below at part deux of my favorite Coachella looks, courtesy of Instagram!

APRIL 16, 2015 BY BETH JONES Style Icon: Cleo Wade

This week, our style icon is one of my personal favorites, Cleo Wade! She is an artist, stylist and someone who just happens to hang with the best dressed group of people, including Katy Perry.

She’s always a Coachella highlight and kills it in the New York City fashion crowd. She mixes designer with vintage and always makes everything look truly one of a kind.

And I’m just dying to have her wild and free curly locks!
