If you’ve ever needed a reason to pull out your favorite tulle skirt, look no further! Play up the feminine factor of a tulle skirt with a thick turtleneck sweater for a sophisticated and flirty look that isn’t too over-the-top.

P2 - Le Happy

Pleated midi skirts aren’t just for spring. There’s something about combining them with chunky knit sweaters that is so cozy and chic for winter!

P3 - Like the Yogurt

Hello, 50 shades of grey! When in doubt, choose a neutral color scheme and stick with it. Embrace the beauty of monotone by choosing layers that give dimension to your outfit. Throw on an oversized pullover sweater, a thick scarf and a draped skirt for style and comfort.

P4 - One Small Blonde

Trying to tone down a fringe skirt? Recreate this outfit by styling a long, fringe skirt with a more subdued knit in a frosty color.

P5 - Sincerely Jules

A super easy way to style a colorblock sweater is by choosing a miniskirt that matches ones of the shades in it. This creates a cohesive combination that doesn’t distract from the beauty of the sweater.

P6 - Something Navy

Can you “knot”? Pull off this look by tucking a thin, slouchy sweater into a knotted skirt. This is a great way to accentuate your curves!

Trade your LBD wear a white lace dress this summer. It’s all about pretty, feminine lace in refreshing white! Here are some of our favorite ways to style one this season.

Follow Rachel’s lead with strappy white heels and a few strategically placed pops of color. A red lip or a bold bag is perfect!

P2 - Pursuit of Shoes

Go for the I-woke-up-like-this look with nude footwear and subtle makeup.

P3 - Song of Style

If you’re not a huge fan of dresses, pair two eye-catching separates in similar textures together for the same feel. This “dress” is actually a skirt!

P4 - Viva Luxury

The flared cuff sleeves and tiered mini skirt on Annabelle’s light and airy dress make such a statement that it doesn’t need many accessories. Keep it simple by throwing on a quilted bag to hold all of your essentials.

P5 - Hello Fashion Blog

May 27th, 2016 by Samantha Weaver Tie-Dye: Modern Ways to Wear It Right

Tie-dye is such a fun print to wear, especially in the spring and summer when you want to add a splash of color to your look. Don’t go digging for that DIY tie-dye shirt you made at summer camp just yet; first, let us show you how to wear it the right way.

1. Paired with Neutrals
Tame your tie-dyes by wearing them in neutral—the muted color will instantly upgrade these wild prints from tacky to chic. Our Tie-Dye Tunic ($17.50) is available at Crossroads stores in peach and tan.

2. Tie-Dye Maxi Dress
Slip into a tie-dye maxi dress for instant summer vibes. Cool and casual, this is my favorite way to wear tie-dye.

3. Pastels
Go for pastels if you are looking for a softer, more feminine look. Tie-dyed hair looks cool but is very difficult to maintain, so I’d opt for our High Neck Pastel Tank ($9.50) instead.

4. Marbled
If bright and colorful isn’t for you, try a marbled tie-dye print in black and white.

Our Marbled Shorts ($9.50) paired with a basic white tee are begging for a trip to the boardwalk. Grab your largest summer tote and a pair of espadrille sandals to finish the look.

…Guys love tie-dye too!

Guys look great in tie-dye. Head to your nearest Crossroads location for our men’s Tie-Dye Knit Tees ($9.50).
