March 26th, 2019 by Jennifer Beile 10 Male Fashion Influencers You Should Be Following on Instagram

Fashion has always heavily favored women’s style. It’s no wonder why; the colors, silhouettes, styles, and options that women have available to wear make it exciting and curious. But we are entering into an age where fashion is beginning to blur the lines between sexes and male fashion is becoming more daring and unique in itself. I’ve recently begun taking more and more inspiration from men’s style than ever before, from little details to complete copycat outfits, and I think woman have always done this, whether subconsciously or knowingly, for years (blazers and boyfriend jeans, anyone?!).
Take a look at 10 of my favorite male fashion influencers on Instagram and add them to your feed for a refreshing dose of daily inspiration.

Mariano Di Vaio, @marianodivaio

Mariano hails from Italy and his modern gentlemen style keeps his 6.1 million follows engaged daily. Mariano has an affinity for tailored suits, jackets, vests and is effortlessly European chic. He also shares his family life and values on Instagram.

Adam Gallagher, @iamgalla

A New York to Los Angeles transplant, Adam started his fashion blog at just 17 years and showcases his street style to his 2 million followers as he travels the world.

Luka Sabbat, @lukasabbat

Model and actor, you may recognize him from “Grownish”, Luka’s curated feed often includes vibrant pops of color and silhouettes that are not traditionally considered masculine, creating a style that is influential to both women and men.Luka wearing a bubble coat against a wall.

Phil Cohen, @thepacman82

Phil Cohen isn’t a traditional influencer, he doesn’t appear in a single one of his Instagram posts. In fact, no one does. He takes the people out of fashion and lets the clothes be the center of attention and curates a feed of flat lays.

Matthew Zorpas, @matthewzorpas

Not one to be afraid to try new trends, print combinations, or funky accessories, Matthew showcases his street style to nearly 190K followers against the stunning backgrounds of his international travels.

Will Taylor, @brightbazaar

In the 10 years since Will has been blogging, he has successfully published books, created his own product line and consistently promotes brand partnerships with integrity. Will Taylor has created his very own empire based on his quirky personality and flair for style.

Johannes Huebl, @johanneshuebl

Being married to fellow iconic style star Olivia Palermo is how I discovered his Instagram feed but his undeniable passion and devotion to fashion made me stay.

Jim Chapman, @jimchapman

A contributing editor to GQ UK and a successful vlogger, Jim’s Instagram feed showcases his casual chic style, travels, and real life moments, creating a feed that feels personal. He has inspired more than a few of my own outfit combinations when I am lacking inspiration.

Men With Street Style, @menwithstreetstyle

As the name suggests, this account showcases men’s street style. Taking the faces out of the fashion to focus on the outfit components results in a fresh approach to sharing diverse fashion styles. Interested in more tailored suiting style? Check out their other Instagram: Men With Class.

February 25th, 2019 by Samantha Furno Borrowed from the Boys

Ladies, have you ever been shopping at Crossroads and something from the men’s section totally catches your eye?! Well, this scenario regularly happens to me when I’m out shopping and truth being told; I’ve actually scored some of my most amazing #CrossroadsFinds by strolling into the men’s section! Maybe it’s the fits or the simplicity of the silhouettes, but some styles are simply better when they are borrowed from the boys! Here’s a list of five styles that I typically will venture into the men’s section to find!

Real Boyfriend Jeans

You can always shop for boyfriend jeans in the women’s section, but go ahead and give this style a run for its money by opting for a pair of real boyfriend jeans! Go ahead and cuff the hem if they are a bit too long in the in-seam and embrace the roominess because looser jeans are right on trend!

A Classic T-Shirt

The men’s section at Crossroads has quite a few racks featuring shirts of all styles and colors, so I like to skim through them for tees with bold graphics or even basics that are a bit worn in. Slightly oversized and super comfortable, men’s tees are great for loosely tucking into a pair of high-rise jeans or for tying up in a knot.

Denim Jacket

One of my latest and greatest finds from Crossroads is a men’s All Saints denim jacket! I have plenty of women’s denim jackets already, but I definitely like the more relaxed vibe that this oversized denim jacket adds to my outfits. Fun Fact: My boyfriend actually takes this #CrossroadsFind out of my closet regularly so that he can wear it for himself!

Blazer

Men’s blazers are a lot roomier and boxier in style, given the tailoring. Luckily for us ladies, menswear-inspired blazers are right on trend, so why not hunt for the real deal! I’m usually seeking blazers with a classic plaid or a window-pane pattern, but solid colored styles are a great find as well! So if you’re not seeing the style you’ve been manifesting in the women’s section, take a stroll to the other side of the store!

Button-Down Shirts

Men’s button-downs make fantastic layering pieces over a simple top, plus they are super easy to tie up in the front from classic pinstripes to cozy plaids, men’s button downs are a great style.
