Certain denim silhouettes that will always be classic, namely skinny, straight, and bootcut. In the past couple of years, denim styles have been evolving and we’ve been seeing more and more so-called “anti-skinny” jeans that seem to be more than just a fad. Continuing this trend is the resurgence of the ’70s born flared jeans. They had a brief comeback in the early 2000’s, were recently seen on the latest fashion week runways, and have finally trickled down to some of the most stylish celebrities, which, let’s face it, is the real sign that a trend is about to make its way into the mainstream fashion scene once again.

Margot Robbie, Gigi Hadid, Harry Styles, and Victoria Beckham are just of the few fashion forward celebrities that have been spotted recently rocking the resurging denim trend. If their street style is any indication, it’s time to invest in a pair of flared denim for the season. Take a look below how to style them this season.

January Jones has always been a bit low on my radar. I wasn’t a huge Mad Men fan and didn’t really know her from much else. That is, until Last Man on Earth! I loved seeing her in a comedic role and it finally led me to her Instagram. And this is where I fell in love with her. Her style, sense of humor, and all-around engagement made her extremely relatable. Check out 5 reasons why you should be following January Jones on Instagram!

Her Style Game is Strong

January is a constant source of style inspiration for me. I love her use of bold vibrant color and print.

June 20th, 2019 by Jennifer Beile Style Spotlight: How Billy Porter Transcends Fashion Norms

Billy Porter, the Tony award-winning actor and star of FX series ‘Pose’, has proven himself a fashion maven and has broken through stereotypes, gender and fashion norms with his sense of grandiose fashion, on and off the red carpet. Porter told Vogue earlier this year, “I grew up loving fashion, but there was a limit to the ways in which I could express myself.” Eventually, Porter grew into his own and began feeling comfortable expressing himself. “My goal is to be a walking piece of political art every time I show up. To challenge expectations. What is masculinity? What does that mean? … I had the courage to push the status quo. I believe men on the red carpet would love to play more.”
And play, he does. Porter’s unapologetic fashion statements have transcended fashion norms and gender stereotypes, and it’s about time that men begin to have the courage to express themselves in a true light such as Porter.  Take a look at 5 of my favorite show-stopping looks from Billy Porter this year and be sure to follow him on Instagram for endless inspiration.
