March 21st, 2016 by Jennifer Beile Four Shoe Trends this Spring and Summer

One of the easiest ways to change an outfit is through your footwear. We’re looking at four of the biggest shoe trends for this year’s spring and summer seasons.

shoe trends1. Slides
Effortless has its own shoe this year: the slide. Sleek, easy, and chic, the slide will be your go-to shoe this season.

shoe trend2. Mules
Flat or heeled, closed-toe or sandals, mules are unapologetically the it style this year. They’re back with an updated, contemporary look that you’ll be able to pair with anything and everything.

shoe trends3. Loafers and Oxfords
Loafers and oxfords are the total package, combining comfort, sophistication, and the ability to be worn casually or dressed up with your chic dresses and skirts.

shoe 24. Sneakers
Sneakers have gone from practical to chic. Add a sporty edge to your outfit with a sleek pair.

Which shoe trends will you try this season?

March 11th, 2016 by Samantha Weaver Coming Soon: Red Accessories

There’s really no better accessory than a bright red lip. But where else can we add a pop of red to our fashion routine this season? We’ve just stocked up on our favorite hue, and we’re running through the best ways to wear red accessories—from bags to jewelry to makeup!

A red bag is an easy way to add some color to any look. Red Duffle Backpack ($27.50).

We’re also seeing jewelry with red stones and beads for summer. Coming soon: Silver and Red Multi-strand Necklace and Beaded Gold Bar Necklace.

Bright red is even popping up in the beauty world. Love this use of red eyeliner!

Try a classic red bandana with a twist! Our Bandana Headband ($9.50) is pre-knotted so it’s ready to wear—just pull it on and adjust the wire-ends!

A red shoe is always a good thing.

I’m also pretty obsessed with our Coral Paper Hat ($20). It’s an update to your classic summer hat but with an added pop of color! And the brim is lined with wire so you can form it to any silhouette you please.

All items will be available at Crossroads this coming week.

February 12th, 2016 by Samantha Weaver Crossroads // Intentionally Blank

Big news: Crossroads is releasing select styles from shoe and lifestyle brand “Intentionally ______.”

I have been coveting every single pair of shoes to come out of this emerging line since day one, so let me give you the rundown. “Intentionally _____.” was born in Los Angeles in 2014 by creative director Ty McBride. His vision then, as it is today, was “to provide shoes to women that work with their life, with their work, with their personal style and beyond.” Ty is also a fan of Crossroads—so we love him even more for that.

“Intentionally _____.” makes the perfected version of your dream shoe whether that be a killer oxford, mule or boot.

Solid. Detailed but not fussy. Stylish.

“Intentionally _____.”

Look for these styles and more at select Crossroads stores this week!

The Ankle BootbootsA classic that will never go out of style and pairs with any type of bottoms.

The Over the Knee BootbootsA sleek pair of over the knee boots will keep you warm and stylish.
