The Legion of Honor in San Francisco is currently showing a very special collection from the Brooklyn Museum that demonstrates fashion’s rise through the 1900’s. Some of my favorite pieces ranged from classic LBD’s by Coco Chanel to surreal jewelry pieces by Elsa Schiaparelli. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll find inside:
Halston from the 1970’s. You can see why this fashion house has stayed true to silks.
Who knew they were sporting cut-outs in the 1940’s?
If you are in San Francisco in the coming months, the exhibit runs March 14-July 19.
