Blog: Crossroads Style

September 18th, 2018 by Jennifer Beile Round Up: Fall Boot Trends

Personally, booties are year-round footwear, but fall is the official start of boot weather and the perfect time to invest in a new pair (or two) to get you through the dreary weather to come. The beauty of the bootie is that it can easily be dressed up or down to go with any style or outfit.

If you can’t afford investing in a new pair of boots this season, check out your closest Crossroads! Every time I go into Crossroads, I find a pair of on-trend boots, gently used and affordably priced. Recycled shopping lets you try the latest trends without putting a huge dent in your wallet.

Take a look at the hottest fall boots this year!

Wild West

With a sophisticated update for 2018, the Western trend has dominated runways and now retail stores. The trendiest fall uniform will consist of cropped denim and Western ankle boots. Catch up on last week’s blog post for other ways to wear the Western trend!

Animal Print

Just as the Western trend has returned, so has animal print. Grab a pair of snakeskin or leopard print boots, and pair them with a simple outfit to make them the star.

White Boots

There’s no need to put away your favorite white summer booties; they’ll still be your go-to boots to pair with your denim and chunky knits this fall!

Tall Boots

…Because how else are we going to transition our dresses from summer to fall? Layer up and finish your fall outfit with a pair of tall boots.

Block Heels

These boots were made for walking! Chunky, block heeled boots will be your best friend this fall.

Kitten Heels

Alternatively, kitten heels are still holding their own this season. You’ll notice that all of the above trends will come in block and kitten heel form.
