August 11, 2015 by Jennifer Beile Wearing White in Summer

As the end of summer nears, many of us are already mapping out fall wardrobes and getting ready to switch out our breezy, bright summer clothes for layers and knits. One summer trend I will be sad to see go is the trend of wearing white. The “no white after Labor Day” rule is surely played out, but even so, you can’t help but notice fewer whites and bright colors in the fall and winter months.

Let’s not put away those whites just yet, ladies! I’ve rounded up some of my favorite summer white looks to showcase until the last day of summer!

The RomperRomperErica Lavelanet of The Fashion Philosophy keeps it easy in a silky, white slip romper.

Bare ShouldersBareShouldersStreet Style photographer Jessie Bush knows how subtly sexy bare shoulders are, and Claire here is absolutely stunning in her off-the-shoulder white blouse.

The Crop
Crop
Will we ever tire of the combination of a high waist bottom and a good crop top? I say no, and with Olivia’s flowy white crop top and suede midi, I think I am validated on that vote!

Fringe
Fringe
The color white refreshes the resurgence of fringe and other ’70s trends this year.

DenimProcessed with VSCOcam with hb1 presetAlthough intrigued by white denim, I still have not mustered up the courage to rock the trend like Danielle of We Wore What. Her latest look is inspiring me to take the plunge!

The Casual MiniMiniThe mini dress has certainly been getting around this season, dressed up or dressed all the way down with comfy sneakers.

The Shirtdress

Arguably the easiest item to throw on in the summer, the white shirtdress should be a staple in your closet.

Monochromatic

Monochromatic outfits were a huge trend this year, and nothing is hotter that the white on white look!

Sets
Sets
I have been loving sets lately. What’s easier than having two pieces pair perfectly together? Two white pieces that pair perfectly together and are perfect for mixing and matching with the rest of your wardrobe!
