February 6th, 2018 by Jennifer Beile 5 Fashionistas to Follow on Instagram for Style Inspiration

Instagram has quickly become the fashion lover’s go-to for instant outfit inspiration. I would go so far to say that Instagram will—if it hasn’t already—quickly surpass the traditional blogger’s platform.

When you’re looking for outfit inspo, it’s as easy as plugging in a descriptive hashtag or simply scrolling through your feed in the morning. Just follow your favorite fashionistas for a daily dose of style delivered straight to you! Need somewhere to start? Take a look at five of my favorite fashion babes you should be following on Instagram if you aren’t already.

Anine Bing, aninebing

stylish ladies

Designer Anine Bing (check out her self-titled line here) is the queen of chic and classic with just the right touch of modern. Known for her outfit uniform of graphic tees and blazers, Anine can also be seen rocking badass booties, leather jackets, and the denim of your dreams.

Casey Carlson, officiallyquigley

A little boho, a little rock and roll, and a lot of funk. Casey has a smile that lights up the entire room and definitely has fun playing dress up everyday. Fun fact: I met Casey at our local dog park before she moved out of the area, and our pups were obsessed with each other!

Lauren Johnson, discodaydream

Lauren is the ultimate cool girl, and I am almost embarrassed by the amount of likes she gets from me! She is an unlimited source of outfit inspo, whether I’m feeling chic, casual, or playful.

Chloe Miles, chloehelenmiles

Chloe is a total style chameleon and showcases her effortless chic fashion sense throughout her Instagram.

Zoe Lazerson, zoelaz

Zoe shares her personality through her fashion! A fan of color, Zoe nails playful yet wearable style and shows you how to wear just about every trend perfectly.

July 26th, 2017 by Jennifer Beile 5 Stylish Mom Bloggers to Follow

As a new mom, I have a new appreciation for those who can seemingly do it all; it’s definitely not as easy as they make it look!

When I first started following style bloggers, the majority were close to my age and typically single and without children. More and more in the last few years, my favorite bloggers have been reaching the same kinds of milestones in their lives as I have in mine. So many style bloggers share more of their life experiences and advice than when they first begin. In my sphere, that includes children in the mix!

I want to share 5 stylish mom bloggers that I follow. They’re an inspiration to me, in proving that you don’t have to be defined only by motherhood or a career. These women are multi-dimensional, stylish, and give us an honest peek into their busy lives.

stylish bloggers

Cali Vintage
You’ll often see Erin’s little ones show up on the blog. One of the first bloggers I followed, Erin was never shy about sharing her new life as a mom and is still one of the most stylish ladies I know doing it.

2

B. Jones Style
One of Crossroads’s very own Style Council members, Beth is an entrepreneur and a mother to two beautiful boys! Beth works as a fashion stylist and interior designer all while running her blog and YouTube channel and raising her boys with her husband.

3

Something Navy
Arielle has a little girl running around, and yet she still has the time and creativity to keep her feed constantly updated for her readers.

4

The Fashion Guitar
Although she is an internationally known blogger who often collaborates with companies like Vogue and InStyle, this down-to-earth fashionista always has time for her two little ones.

5

Cupcakes and Cashmere
Emily got into the blogging world early and has conquered every nook, including writing a book and releasing her own fashion line. But her main priority is her darling little girl Sloan, whose quirks and growing personality are a joy to read about.

May 2nd, 2017 by Jennifer Beile 7 Floral Outfits to Inspire Your Spring Style

Florals for spring: groundbreaking? Hardly. Still, florals are a universally flattering print that will always be a classic. Before we head into the high heats of summer, take advantage of spring’s beautiful weather and get the most out of your floral prints this season. Check out some of my favorite fresh ways to incorporate florals into your wardrobe!

OffTheShoulder

Off-the-Shoulder
Try one of this year’s hottest trends for an updated floral look.

LadyLike

Lady-Like Florals
Finding the perfect spring occasion dress can feel nearly impossible, but Lucy’s small print daisy wrap dress has everything you need.

floral

Edgy Florals
If a floral print is too girly for you, look for a piece that has edgier details, like this sheer crop top with a modern embroidered applique.

floral

Accessory Pop
If your style is a bit more minimalistic, add a floral pop in your shoes, bag, or jewelry.

Floral Print Mixing

Floral Print-Mixing
Dare to be bold and mix together different floral prints, like Maria did in her playful outfit above.

PatchItUp

Patch It Up
Breathe some new life into your old denim pieces by adding floral patches.

DarkFlorals

Dark Florals
I absolutely love a rich, dark floral print—like the one in Blair’s jumpsuit—as opposed to the usual, more expected bright colors you see in spring.
