What are your thoughts about the difference in expectations between women and men’s style, regardless if they are celebrities? The juxtaposition between Beyonce and Ed Sheeran’s outfits at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa sparked online outrage on the vanity pressures put upon women. If Ed Sheeran was in a suit and Beyonce in jeans and a tee, we know that Beyonce would receive backlash for her inappropriate attire.
Pantone announced the 2019 color of the year and it is *drumroll*….. Living Coral! “An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” Are you a fan of this vibrant color?

Everyone loves a comeback and I am psyched for the return of Amanda Bynes, now four years sober and studying at Los Angeles’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Can we all admit that if “She’s The Man” is on TV that we drop everything to watch it?
Are music video trailers officially a thing now? If Ariana Grande says so, then it must be! She dropped a trailer for her music video for “Thank You, Next” and it fantastically pays homage to “Mean Girls”. Watch the trailer while eagerly awaiting the video here:

I’ve just come across the lovely Pandora Sykes and not only instantly fell in love with her style, but also her writing. Since becoming a mother myself, I’ve struggled with my identity via my style. It’s not always conducive to a stay at home mom’s lifestyle to wear the latest trends; my number one priority is being comfortable so that it’s easier for me to focus on my son. I love Pandora’s take on what comfortable can mean for people at different points in their life, specifically what dressing like a mom actually means. Read her insightful thoughts here.
