Stripes will never go out of style. They work for any style—from preppy to minimalist to eclectic and more—and on every body type. Of course, stripes are a year-round style, but they are definitely having a moment this summer. Street style stars, bloggers, and fashion “It girls” everywhere are loving summer stripes. Take a look at some of my favorite bloggers looks featuring my favorite go-to pattern.

May 2nd, 2017 by Jennifer Beile 7 Floral Outfits to Inspire Your Spring Style

Florals for spring: groundbreaking? Hardly. Still, florals are a universally flattering print that will always be a classic. Before we head into the high heats of summer, take advantage of spring’s beautiful weather and get the most out of your floral prints this season. Check out some of my favorite fresh ways to incorporate florals into your wardrobe!

OffTheShoulder

Off-the-Shoulder
Try one of this year’s hottest trends for an updated floral look.

LadyLike

Lady-Like Florals
Finding the perfect spring occasion dress can feel nearly impossible, but Lucy’s small print daisy wrap dress has everything you need.

Edgy Florals
If a floral print is too girly for you, look for a piece that has edgier details, like this sheer crop top with a modern embroidered applique.

floral

Accessory Pop
If your style is a bit more minimalistic, add a floral pop in your shoes, bag, or jewelry.

Floral Print Mixing

Floral Print-Mixing
Dare to be bold and mix together different floral prints, like Maria did in her playful outfit above.

PatchItUp

Patch It Up
Breathe some new life into your old denim pieces by adding floral patches.

DarkFlorals

Dark Florals
I absolutely love a rich, dark floral print—like the one in Blair’s jumpsuit—as opposed to the usual, more expected bright colors you see in spring.

April 11th, 2017 by Jennifer Beile 6 Dos and Don’ts in Festival Trends

It’s festival season once again, a favorite time of year for fashionistas to combine their love of music and fashion. Music festivals are well known to be an excuse to show off your style. Months of planning go into the kind of head-to-toe festival looks you wouldn’t necessarily wear in your everyday life. This year, try mixing in pieces that are more practical yet still trendy—you’ll stand out in the crowd with your updated take on festival style.

Don’t be a Coachella cliché this year; change up your look by following these simple dos and don’ts in festival trends.

Don’t: Flower Crowns
I know, I know… Flower crowns are the epitome of music festival fashion. I myself still love a good flower crown when the moment presents itself—I wore one to my baby shower just this past weekend! But it’s time to bid adieu to the ubiquitous music festival flower crown.

Do: A Hat and SPF.
I don’t mean to sound like your mother (though if you missed it above, I am expecting after all!), but your skin will thank you for wearing a hat and some SPF during a weekend in the desert. Try an athletic-inspired or a wide-brimmed hat to top your festival ensemble.

Hats

Don’t: Heeled Anything
Heeled ankle booties are a staple of mine and many others no matter the occasion. But let’s be honest: heeled boots—or heels of any kind—are not kind to your feet during those long festival days.

Do: Sneakers and Flats
Sneakers have been trending, and our feet are taking notice and thanking us! Mix up your usual boho look and pair your ensemble with some sneakers or lace-up flats to stay trendy and practical.

Flats

Don’t: Leather, Suede, and Fur
Y’all… Music festivals are held in the desert. It’s hot! Leave those heavy layers at home and enjoy yourself instead of flirting with heatstroke. Keep these fabrics to accessories like bags.

Do: Breezy Fabrics
Sheer is in, and it’s perfect for staying cool during a weekend in the desert! Layer a lightweight dress or a sheer top over some shorts and a bralette and you’re ready!

February 28th, 2017 by Jennifer Beile Round-Up: Top 4 Spring Shoe Trends

The weather is warming up and stores are switching over to their spring and summer lines. This year, it’s all about fun, bold, and quirky pieces, including shoes. Are you more of a lace-up girl or a funky flatform one? These trends may not be entirely new, but they have been reinvented for 2017. Put a little ‘spring’ in your step and take a look at this year’s top spring shoe trends.

All Wrapped Up

Lace-up sandals and heels will be everywhere this season and are such a fun alternative to a traditional flat or heel.

The Flatform

Give your feet a break while keeping the boost of a heel. The flatform shoe is back and better than ever.

Kitten Heels

The return of this trend may garner mixed reactions. From sandals to booties, stilettos to block, the ’80s kitten heel is back and will either be loved or hated.

Slides, Slippers, and Sandals

2017 fashion is looking like it’ll be made up of the most comfortable trends, and that includes shoes. Slides, slippers, and sandals will make your feet happy while you stay on trend.
