MARCH 31, 2015 BY JENNIFER BEILE Round Up: White Hot Look

I enjoy wearing colors all year round, but when the sun comes out my wardrobe tends to get a little brighter and more colorful. Sometimes, though, my favorite color to wear when the weather heats up is actually no color at all; white becomes my go-to for a base to build around and create funky looks, or for a simple easy chic look in which white is the star.

I’ve rounded up some of my favorite street style outfits that use white to create a refreshing, chic look.

The White Top

Your collection of white tees, tanks, button ups and the like can never be too large. I consider my white tops my most versatile pieces. I love using them to showcase statement pieces like jackets or blazers, or for staying simple with a white tee and denim for a crisp everyday look.

The White Dress

White dresses – mini, midi, and maxi – are so refreshing and such a nice change from the staple little black dress. I have noticed I have been drawn to white dresses more often lately, and I have begun to collect them. Layer them up or keep them simple!

White Bottoms

It takes courage to wear white bottoms, but it is well work the risk! When done well, white can transform a bottom piece to new heights!

White Out

Not only is white hot, but the monochromatic look is on trend for spring. When combined, you have the ultimate chic look!

MARCH 30, 2015 BY MELANIE SUTRATHADA Look of the Week: Floral Midi

Spring is finally here, and it wouldn’t be the same without florals. It may still be a little too chilly to bare our legs quite yet, so we’re turning to our favorite type of skirt – the midi.

Here are some of our favorite ways bloggers are styling floral midi skirts:

MARCH 27, 2015 BY SAMANTHA Destination Unknown: Vacation Dresses and More!

This spring, it seems like everyone I know is already planning an exciting vacation. Needless to say, I’ve caught the travel bug! But where to go to next? Exotic Thailand…a backpacking trip through Europe…or perhaps a tranquil week on a deserted island (which is winning so far).

Yet suddenly where is not the issue at hand while planning my perfect vacation. I am instead stuck wondering, what on earth am I going to wear? Luckily, we’re busy filling our stores with vacation-worthy dresses, tote bags and sandals just in time for you’re next trip.

Vacation-dresses-031

What:
Cream Beach Cover-up, $ 32.50
Printed Leather and Fabric Tote, $65
Platform Leather Heels, $85

When: Pull this dress over your bikini after a long day at the beach. Grab a designer tote and heels to take the whole look up a notch!

Where: Wear this on a spur of the moment weekend trip to Santa Monica, CA.

Vacation-dresses-050

What: Hibiscus Print Dress with Scarf Hem, $32.50

When: This flowing cotton dress with bold print screams exotic vacation, and with a low-cut back and sides you won’t need to pack much more.

Where: I’m thinking a trip to tropical Kauai is a match.

Vacation-dresses-057

What:
Orange Red Trapeze Dress, $32.50
Leather Mules, $85

When: Another dress that’s perfect for walks on the beach. The oversized body and sheer red fabric make this a great pick, plus it arrives wrinkle free after way too many hours en route.

Where: Thailand. Or for something closer, take a trip just across the border to Mexico.

Vacation-dresses-035

What: Floral Slip with Asymmetrical Bottom, $32.50

When: Pair this floral slip dress with a pair of ankle boots and you’re ready for a trip north.

Where: Portland or Seattle

Vacation-dresses-020

What:
Off the Grid Blouse, $17.50
Chiffon Jumper with Suspenders, $28.50

When: This look is just too cute. Day or night, I’m seeing this look around museums or coffee breaks at a hole in the wall café.

Where: Gallivanting around Prague, or perhaps a day exploring Washington D.C.

Happy travels and happy shopping!

MARCH 26, 2015 BY BETH JONES Style Icon: Adi Heyman

I’m so excited about this week’s style icon! The truth is I’ve seen this woman’s picture scattered throughout Pinterest over the years, and I’ve always LOVED what she was wearing, but I never could figure out who she was. Finally, it was revealed and now I can share the inspiration Adi Heyman brings. She is the blogger at Fabologie and she advocates for modest fashion as an Orthodox Jew. She wants the world to know that you can dress modestly, but also very fashionable at the same time, and she has made me
a believer.

I love it all.
