Instagram is my most used source for style inspiration. I follow countless accounts: bloggers, models, celebrities, street style stars and their photographers. I gather ideas from the use of colors, movement, and lighting and often find myself looking forward to seeking out the perfect accounts to add to my collection. Good news: I’ve done the hard work for you! Take a look at 5 of my favorite street style photographers to follow on Instagram when you need just a bit of a inspo burst.
Melodie Jeng, @melodiejeng
See New York style come to life with Melodie Jeng’s street style photography.
Phil Oh, @mrstreetpeeper
A street style photographer for Vogue Magazine, Phil Oh doesn’t always take himself or his subjects seriously.
Tommy Ton, @tommyton
This veteran street style photographer is taking a stab at fashion design. If he has the same eye for design as he does for capturing street style, I cannot wait!
Eddie Newton, @mister_newton
Eddie Newton doesn’t only focus on street style stars, models, and celebrities – he also shoots women of all ages and ranges of style, including accessible fashion.
Scott Schuman, @thesartorialist
A bit of a “duh” on a list like this, Scott Schuman is a leader in the industry and has built his empire from his blog, The Sartorialist.
July 1st, 2016 by Samantha Weaver Meet Cassidy!
Meet Cassidy Gard—she’s our newest addition to the Crossroads Style Council! This LA-based Jane of all trades interviews celebs by day, but by night, you can find her making videos about things she likes: DIY, cooking, lifestyle, and fashion!
Cassidy is an entertainment reporter who covers everything from press junkets to red carpet premieres via her very own production company. Whoa! This girl’s got goals.
You’ll see Cassidy sporting her #CrossroadsFinds everywhere, from her YouTube videos and even on the red carpet! When it comes to shopping, Cassidy admits she’s at Crossroads at least once a week.
“I love discovering the cutest little dresses from Diane von Furstenberg, Cynthia Rowley, Topshop—you name it.”
BEAUTY & DIY MAVEN
From face masks to home makeovers, Cassidy shows us how in her fun and easy video tutorials.
We love Cassidy’s all-American style, which favors classic pieces mixed with bright colors (queue denim and stripes!).
Cassidy isn’t afraid of showing us her outdoors-y side, whether she’s by the ocean or on a mountain doing yoga. Namaste.
Cassidy keeps it real (and hilarious) in her 8-part series on her very own “quarter life crisis.” Fun fact: every piece of clothing in this episode is from Crossroads!
