Ditch the traditional bucket list for a fashion bucket list—because 1) it’s not as morbid, and 2) you get to shop to complete it!
We’re busy collecting all this season’s must-have trends from some of our favorite brands, and we’re certain you’ll be adding a few of these classics to your very own fall fashion bucket list!
Denim Jacket + Graphic Tee
Spruce up your denim with our Frayed Denim Shirt Jacket ($48.50). Then add our Graphic Ringer Tee ($14) and finish the look with black drainpipe denim and leather riding boots.
A Great Backpack
If you haven’t ditched your heavy tote bag for a backpack yet, trust me: this is a bucket list must. Snag our Ocean Waves Canvas Backpack ($25) and get ready to be a backpack convert.
Joggers + Ankle Boots
I’ve essentially left behind real pants for fashionable joggers this year. Start your own collection with our Overdyed Drawstring Jogger ($18.50), and pair it with our Cropped Lace-Up Sweater ($25) and Stacked Leather Hex Boot ($58.50).
Sweater Vest + Flannel Shirt
If you love to layer, then try our Split Side Sweater Vest ($20). Pair it with skinny dark denim, ballet flats, and our Latico Crossbody ($38.50). Then, layer it over our Oversized Navy Flannel ($30).
Stay tuned to the Crossroads Instagram feed for a first look at our newest arrivals so you can continue building your very own fashion bucket list for fall!
Meet Cassidy Gard—she’s our newest addition to the Crossroads Style Council! This LA-based Jane of all trades interviews celebs by day, but by night, you can find her making videos about things she likes: DIY, cooking, lifestyle, and fashion!
Cassidy is an entertainment reporter who covers everything from press junkets to red carpet premieres via her very own production company. Whoa! This girl’s got goals.
You’ll see Cassidy sporting her #CrossroadsFinds everywhere, from her YouTube videos and even on the red carpet! When it comes to shopping, Cassidy admits she’s at Crossroads at least once a week.
“I love discovering the cutest little dresses from Diane von Furstenberg, Cynthia Rowley, Topshop—you name it.”
BEAUTY & DIY MAVEN
From face masks to home makeovers, Cassidy shows us how in her fun and easy video tutorials.
We love Cassidy’s all-American style, which favors classic pieces mixed with bright colors (queue denim and stripes!).
Cassidy isn’t afraid of showing us her outdoors-y side, whether she’s by the ocean or on a mountain doing yoga. Namaste.
Cassidy keeps it real (and hilarious) in her 8-part series on her very own “quarter life crisis.” Fun fact: every piece of clothing in this episode is from Crossroads!
There are some women who just know how to stand out in a crowd, and this week’s style icon is one of those women. She is Yasmin Sewell, fashion consultant and street style star. She always seems to dress up her looks in ways that are unexpected and puts together outfits that are new and fresh.
Take ideas from Yasmin and think outside the box.
Another New York Fashion Week has come and gone, and there was no shortage of fashionistas parading around New York City showcasing their best street style looks. The masses can gather fashion inspiration from street style more than anything; it showcases trends in true ready-to-wear fashion, as opposed to runway looks that focus on a higher fantasy visual.
This season was delightfully more casual, seasonably appropriate, and very wearable. A few trends jumped out at me as I scoped out photos from the past week. Below, I have rounded up my favorite NYFW street style looks for the fall/winter 2016 season.
