October 12, 2023 3 Ways to Style a Fringe Jacket

We included fringe in our seasonal selling guide, and a fringe jacket might be the best way to wear it.

A fringe jacket is a rare find, so that’s why we keep our eyes open for them in our stores. When we do find one, we treasure it for years. Most come in long-lasting materials like leather or suede, so they’re an investment piece that can last a lifetime.

There is more than one way to wear a fringe jacket too! Here are 3 ways that we casually style this prize find.

Western Style

You can’t help but be inspired to add cowboy boots and ruffled hems, so go with it!

With Activewear

Pairing one with activewear is always unexpected. The silhouettes work wonders together.

As a Neutral

Keep the look neutral if you want to tone down the fringe. Wear a black one with a monotone look and with gray; a brown one looks great with tan pieces.

Don’t overlook a fringe jacket when you next see one in our stores! Give it a try with one of these looks, or with it’s classic match: flared denim.

There are so many excellent trends to try this season. Shop or sell them in our stores, or check our selling guide for even more to consider.

October 11, 2023 The Best Secondhand Clothes for Fall

We buy secondhand clothes for a dozen reasons, but one of the best is updating our wardrobes for a new season.

With fall in full swing, we’re currently filling our stores with some of these seasonal favorites.

Below is what we love to stock and shop in the fall. There must be something here that you’re eyeing too!

Sneakers

All of our fall looks need great sneaker pairings, so we love fashion resale shops that stock a wide range of sneaker options.

Grandparent Chic

With the holidays approaching and family events getting booked on our calendars, we start to look for cozy pieces with funky motifs. Cat sweatshirt or crocheted sweater, anyone? Thrift and resale stores have them!

Fall Neutrals

Every seasonal wardrobe calls for basic neutrals. These neutrals can be blouses, trousers, or accessories. In the fall, we look for these pieces in off-white, black, gray, and tan colors.

Luxe Handbags

With the temps cooling, our daily looks get covered up in long coats. The answer is beautiful handbags that we can show off. We look for rich jewel-tone colors and premium materials.

October 5, 2023 Try a Lace Top This Season

You usually expect to see a lace top in spring and summer, and that’s what makes one in fall an unexpected look.

We start with tops that have longer sleeves or higher collars, then pair them with warmer pieces like jeans and blazers.

Here are a few of the ways we like to style them for autumn weather.

With Dark Denim

We like the contrast of dark denim with lace. Add in chic classic accessories like a silk headband, pearl earrings, or gold aviator frames.

In An Unexpected Color

Look beyond colors like black and white. This mint green version is a great example, especially with those amazing sailor pants!

With Warm Outerwear

Pair the lightness of lace with warm outerwear in soft materials like cashmere and wool. This charcoal overcoat is an excellent match for black lace.

In This Season’s Latte

We’re seeing mocha shades everywhere this season, and this puff-sleeve top is a perfect example of bringing together two trends.
