If you’re passionate about fashion and care about the planet, looking for sustainable jobs in retail is a perfect match—and Crossroads offers exceptional opportunities to do just that.
At Crossroads, you won’t just be folding clothes or ringing up sales. You’ll be immersed in a dynamic environment where you can learn the art of fashion buying and contribute to a more sustainable future. Buyers at Crossroads are trained to identify current trends and select gently used pieces that resonate with customers. This provides hands-on experience that’s invaluable for anyone looking to build a career in fashion.
Working in resale fashion also means you’re actively participating in the circular economy. It’s a role that combines style with sustainability, allowing you to make a positive impact every day.

And not to be overlooked is the opportunity to build your own fashion network. Whether it’s sharing fashion tips, curating store inventory, or assisting customers, you’ll be part of a team that loves fashion and values creativity.

April 10, 2025 Spring Cleaning Means It’s Time to Sell
Spring cleaning is in full swing, and if your closet just went through a major purge, you might be wondering what to do with that growing pile of gently worn clothes. Instead of letting them sit in storage—or worse, end up in a landfill—why not turn them into cash or trade credit at your local Crossroads store?
We make it easy to give your clothes a second life. Our stores buy seasonally on-trend pieces, so if you’ve just decluttered your wardrobe and have stylish items in great condition, you’re already ahead of the game. Whether it’s that barely-worn jacket you bought on impulse, or those jeans that just don’t fit the way they used to, there’s a good chance someone else is searching for exactly what you’re ready to part with.
Plus, selling to Crossroads is simple. When you bring in your items, our trained buyers will evaluate them on the spot. We’re always looking for current styles from popular brands and well-made wardrobe staples. After a buyer prices your items, you’ll have the option to receive a percentage of that price in cash or trade (just perfect if you’re planning a little wardrobe refresh of your own).
Not only does selling your preloved clothes put a little extra money in your pocket, it also supports a more sustainable fashion cycle. By choosing resale, you’re helping reduce textile waste and encouraging others to shop secondhand. That’s a win-win for your wallet and the planet.
So, after your spring cleaning session, don’t just stash those castoffs in a donation bin. Check out our seasonal selling guide, bring in your clothing to your local Crossroads store, and let them shine in someone else’s wardrobe. You’ll feel good, look great, and maybe even discover your new favorite spring piece.

Spring has sprung! You may already be following spring trends in men’s fashion across social media, but here are 10 we want to make sure you don’t miss.
1. Bootcut Denim
All eyes were on Kendrick Lamar’s performance in the Super Bowl, especially his jeans! While this trend isn’t new, he definitely made this style spike in popularity.
2. Cuffless/Brimless Hats
Brims are out! Hats are always a quick and easy accessory to an outfit, and the brimless trend makes a simple outfit look more elevated and sleek, no matter the color or texture.
3. Twisted Seams
Last fall, we saw the emergence of twisted seams on barrel leg pants, front-seam denim, and more. They are still holding it down.
4. Sleek Sneaker Silhouettes
It’s time to put the chunky dad shoes away, because slim sneakers are now currently trending! Made popular by Japanese brand, Onitsuka Tiger, many brands are now following suit.
5. Heavy Weight Basics
Everyone should have good basics in their closet, and heavy weight cotton tees are timeless and necessary for every season.
6. Statement Sneakers
Sneakers are an easy way to add pop to a simple outfit, whether they are brightly-colored or emblazoned with a simple but colorful stripe.
7. Cotton & Linen Blends
As temperatures rise again, everyone will be reaching for these fabric blends to keep cool.
8. Tote Bags
Another quick and fun way to add a pop of color or texture to an outfit is a trusty tote! Whether it holds some purchases from your local Crossroads Trading store or a few books and change, they’ll also bring ease to your day.
9. Textures & Patterns
Prints and weaves are SO back! Between plaids, grids, and florals to knits, denim, and suede, being bold with mixing and matching is the way to go this season.
10. Layering
Last but not least, a classic trend! Layering is a fun way to add more depth to an outfit and to make sure you’re prepared for whatever weather comes your way.

These are only 10 of the spring trends we’re spotting in men’s fashion. Check out our latest selling guide for even more styles and labels we have our eyes on this season.

April 3, 2025 The Chunky Shoes We’re Seeing Everywhere
Chunky shoes are back in a big way this spring—and we’re not mad about it. These bold, statement-making styles are the perfect way to add a little edge to your everyday outfits. From updated classics to fashion-forward favorites, chunky shoes are walking straight off the runway and into our closets.
You’ll find them paired with wide-leg jeans, flowy dresses, and tailored trousers alike. Major plus: there’s a chunky shoe for everyone—whether your style leans sporty, polished, or playfully retro.
We’re seeing our favorite brands leading the charge this season with styles that are both versatile and unexpected. Whether you’re dressing up for a spring brunch or just looking to elevate your grocery store run look, these shoes have you (and your feet) covered.
Here are 3 types of chunky shoes you’ll see everywhere this spring.
1. Chunky Loafers
Let’s start with a classic. Loafers have long been a wardrobe staple, but this spring they’re getting a major update with thicker soles, bold hardware, and unexpected colorways. Think sleek black leather with a lug sole, or creamy patent with a platform heel. Pair them with cropped trousers or a pleated mini skirt to balance the weight of the shoe with lighter, spring-friendly fabrics. We love styling them with ankle socks or sheer tights for a bit of preppy charm. These are the kind of shoes that say, “I’m polished, but I’m not trying too hard.”

2. Retro-Inspired Sneakers
You know we can’t resist a sneaker moment, especially one that feels both nostalgic and modern. This season’s chunky sneakers are taking inspiration from the early 2000s with their exaggerated soles, mixed materials, and colorblocking. They’re the kind of shoes you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again, whether you’re running errands or exploring a new city. Comfort + cool factor = a win-win in our book.
3. Platform Sandals
As the weather warms up, we’re ready to let our toes out—and what better way to do it than in a chunky platform sandal? This spring, it’s all about height, texture, and playful details. Look for styles with woven straps, padded footbeds, and thick rubber soles that give you a little extra lift without compromising on comfort. Platform slides and flatforms are especially popular, and they pair effortlessly with everything from denim cutoffs to floral midi dresses. Now’s the time to add a pair to your spring rotation.
So if you’re looking to update your shoe game this season, start by checking out our latest selling guide. These chunky styles are not just trends—they’re future closet staples.
