July 7, 2022 7 Yellow Fashion Pieces for Summer
Why wouldn’t you consider yellow fashion pieces in summer? Yellow is the color of sunshine and limoncello!
That’s why we found 7 yellow fashion pieces that you should consider for your summer looks.
1. Mini
Add a mini in electric yellow to any outfit to bring all the summer vibes.
2. Plaid
Your next thrifted treasure hunt needs to include a piece (or three) in yellow plaid!
3. Headband
Maybe you just want to test the waters first. Give yellow a try with something as simple as a headband.

Tell us about your favorite Crossroads find.
Just the other day I found a fantastic beaded dress that makes me feel like an actual princess. It’s totally Olivia Hussey in Romeo and Juliet. I can’t wait to wear it.
What are you dying to see come into your Crossroads store?
When anything Fornarina comes in, I get so excited. I think it’s the coolest brand. I’m always waiting for anything Fornarina.
What are your summer closet essentials?
Short skirts and rhinestone tops!!!
How would you describe your personal style?
It’s either early 2000’s popstar or 50’s Lolita style. No in between.
What is your favorite thing about working at Crossroads?
There’s so many things I love about working at Crossroads…but probably getting to look at new clothes every day, everything that comes in is super unique. It feels like shopping!
Top tips for selling at Crossroads?
Definitely talking to the buyers about what they’re looking for. If there’s any of my items they don’t take, I ask why so I know what to bring in the future.

Tell us about your favorite Crossroads find.
I got the absolute coolest dress on the planet by Custo Barcelona. Literally, I have never had such a visceral reaction to seeing an article of clothing.
What are you dying to see come into your Crossroads store?
I am dreaming of the day I get a pair of Tabi Mary Janes. My life would be complete once they come in.
What are your summer closet essentials?
I love layering all year, so any lingerie overlay or negligee is the best to add an interesting touch to a look.
How would you describe your personal style?
I love when my outfits are very eclectic, eccentric, color-coordinated, and just have a funny story with each piece.
What is your favorite thing about working at Crossroads?
My coworkers are the sweetest people ever. The entire environment is the best and I get to meet the coolest folks!
Top tips for selling at Crossroads?
Bring in the type of stuff you would love to see, just some funky, unique pieces.
