October 5, 2023 Try a Lace Top This Season

You usually expect to see a lace top in spring and summer, and that’s what makes one in fall an unexpected look.

We start with tops that have longer sleeves or higher collars, then pair them with warmer pieces like jeans and blazers.

Here are a few of the ways we like to style them for autumn weather.

With Dark Denim

We like the contrast of dark denim with lace. Add in chic classic accessories like a silk headband, pearl earrings, or gold aviator frames.

In An Unexpected Color

Look beyond colors like black and white. This mint green version is a great example, especially with those amazing sailor pants!

With Warm Outerwear

Pair the lightness of lace with warm outerwear in soft materials like cashmere and wool. This charcoal overcoat is an excellent match for black lace.

In This Season’s Latte

We’re seeing mocha shades everywhere this season, and this puff-sleeve top is a perfect example of bringing together two trends.
