When I need style inspiration, I turn to my favorite blogger babes. I love seeing real people celebrate fashion and share their personal style; it is so much more inspiring to me than seeing style carefully crafted by professional stylists! I have been so impressed with all of the lovely ladies I follow lately, so I’ve rounded up some of my favorite blogger looks to share with you and inspire your mid-summer style.

Who wants to be anything but comfortable on a flight? At LAX and JFK, celebrities are just like us. No matter where you’re going or what the duration of your flight is, having some comfort while stuck in those tiny seats with no leg room is a must. Still, as these celebs show us below, it is absolutely possible to be chic whilst being comfy.
Check out some of my favorite celebrity airport style trends to inspire your travel attire!
A little stretch in your fabric goes a long way on a long flight. Elevate your athleisure look by dressing monochromatic, throwing a chic leather jacket over your outfit, or a tying a long sleeve button-up around your waist.
Wearing light layers, like a cardigan or a scarf, will keep you warm when it gets chilly while flying and later lets you cool off when you land. Functional and practical! If the weather permits, layering your heaviest coat or sweater will also save precious room in your luggage.
Stretchy jeans, a tee, and easy shoes: this is a no-fail outfit formula for a relaxed flight!
Remember that traveling should be fun, and there’s enough stress in preparing for a trip—so don’t add being uncomfortable for hours in a tiny plane seat to your plans!
It happens to the best of us—you pick up some new favorite finds while out shopping, get home, and have no idea how to incorporate them into your existing wardrobe’s color scheme. The last thing you should be worrying about before a hectic day is getting dressed. Something so simple and familiar should not cause anxiety; it should be fun!
So, taking it back to grade school, let’s use the color wheel as a cheat sheet to guarantee your colors look great together!
Pair Complementary Colors
Complementary colors are the colors directly across from each other on the wheel and are typically opposite in hue. Remember: opposites attract!
Pair Analogous (Like) Colors
Unlike complementary colors, analogous colors are the colors that are adjacent on the wheel and are similar hues. Try choosing one as the primary and using others as accents.
Pair Within the Color Family
Play with different hues of one color to create a fun monochromatic look.
If all else fails, neutral colors—white, black, grey, and brown—are fail-proof and match with any color. Start small and add color to a neutral outfit. See my tips on adding color to a neutral outfit in my last post!
According to American fashion designer Michael Kors, “70% of the clothes you own should be meat and potatoes. 30% should be icing and fluff—that’s color, pattern, shine, and accessories.” If Kors has you wondering just how many pieces you’ve bought but never worn, it’s time for a closet clean-out.
Whether you have a surplus of “fluff” in your closet or your wardrobe is overloaded with basics, Crossroads can turn your unwanted clothes into cash with our new Sell by Mail service!
