We’ve put together a few boots for you need for fall:

For those days where it seems like the rain just won’t stop pouring, you’ll be glad that you invested in a cute pair of rain boot like Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific.

As far as we’re concerned, chukka boots can make any outfit look instantly more stylish.

Thank goodness that fall is back because we’ve been waiting to wear over-the-knee boots for the longest time!

It’s time to break all the rules, and wear white boots after Labor Day!

Fashion alert: sock boots are back for the second year in a row!

Finding out how to style a pair of low-cut boots can be hard. Style with edgier details like fishnet stockings to toughen up the look.

October 2nd, 2018 by Jennifer Beile Round Up: 4 Ways to Elevate Plaid This Fall

Plaid for fall is about as groundbreaking as florals for spring. But it’s a classic print that is quintessentially autumnal and somehow reinvented each year with new color palettes, new vibes and moods, and unexpected fabrics and shapes.  Don’t just designate plaid to oversize button-down tops and leggings. Instead, take a look at 4 ways to elevate plaid this fall.

1. Plaid Print Mixing

Plaid on plaid is double the fun! To pull off mixing plaid prints, pair contrasting colors and sizes of the print, like Michelle did with her yellow plaid blouse and green plaid suit.

2. Opposites Attract

Style your favorite plaid piece with an unexpected texture like leather or sequins. Bethany takes athleisure to a new level with plaid trousers paired with a sequin hoodie.

3. Go Big With the Print

An exaggerated or stretched plaid in soft colors creates a minimalist look.

4. Suit Up

Undoubtedly the most popular way to elevate plaid this season is with a blazer and/or suit combo.

Of course, there are more than 4 ways to elevate plaid this fall! We’d love to see how you wear it. Share your looks with us on Instagram by tagging us @crossroadstrading.

One of the most classic and timeless fashion pieces that you can invest in is a blazer. The great part is that there are tons of different ways that you can style a blazer for fall! For instance, you can wear it over a blouse for work, over a casual graphic tee or even to replace a cardigan!  If you’re looking for more inspiration, scroll further down to see how your favorite fashion bloggers are wearing the blazer staple.

We’ve pulled together a few of our favorite blazer outfits:

The real appeal of a colored blazer is that it serves as the focal point of your outfit.

Have a slip dress that you want to make more work-appropriate? Combine it with a blazer!

Anyone else agree that the pairing of a plaid blazer and culottes is a match made in fashion heaven?

The great thing about blazers is that they can make even the most casual of outfits look sharper! Street style tip: try pairing your blazer with a graphic tee!

Wear a blazer over a white tee and jean shorts and you’ll instantly look more polished for a day full of errands.

Jazz up a black jumpsuit by throwing on a red blazer on top.
