September 20, 2022 How to Sell Used Clothes Online From Home

Q: I hear that people are selling their unwanted clothing for cash. I want to know how to sell used clothes online from home!

The rumor is true: you can sell your preloved clothes conveniently from home. There are 3 main ways to do this.

The first is to sell on a general selling website like eBay. You create an account, upload photos and a description of your piece, and either set a fixed or auction price. Once the piece has sold, you package and ship it to the buyer. You handle all communication with your buyer and deal with any returns.

The second way is to use a peer-to-peer marketplace, like Poshmark or Depop. Again, you create an account and a listing for your product. You answer potential buyers’ questions and sometimes negotiate a price together. Once the buyer makes the purchase, you package and ship the item to them directly. Again, you handle communication with the buyer.

Or, maybe you’d like to sell your clothes in 3 easy steps that don’t involve photographing, negotiating, and shipping every single one of your items. Here is where Crossroads Sell by Mail comes in.

1. Order a Sell by Mail Bag Online

Order your free Sell by Mail bag on the Crossroads website. At that time, you’ll decide if you want unpurchased items donated or returned to you for a fee. You’ll also mark whether you want to receive cash or store credit for any Crossroads store location.

2. Clean Out Your Closet

Look for clothing that’s still in great condition, with no stains or damages. Don’t forget those “new with tags” purchases that you keep passing up in your closet for other items you love.

3. Fill and Mail the Bag

Fill the bag up and ship it off. It already has a pre-paid shipping label on it!

Then, wait to hear from our buying team about what they’ve decided to buy, and when you can expect your payment. See, much easier, right?

It’s up to you how you choose to sell used clothes from home, but if the Sell by Mail option from Crossroads sounds best, go ahead and order your free Sell by Mail bag today!

September 15, 2022 Ravewear Essentials

Ravewear is a fun and popular style rooted in underground edge, and it often crosses paths with other fashion trends and pieces we adore like punk, baggy, corsets, platforms, and Victorian-inspired.

Some brands that make our favorite ravewear pieces are Urban Outfitters, Jaded London, i.am.gia., Off-White, and All Saints. We like to buy them into our stores so they’re waiting for your next thrifting hunt for that big night out.

There’s no better place to look for inspiration than through festival photos, or on the streets of big cities around the globe. Look at enough outfits and you find there are a number of essential pieces that really complete a ravewear look.

Keep scrolling for our list of essentials.

Funky Sunglasses

You’ll need a pair for your day in the sun –or for watching the sunset at an evening show– so pick a pair in a funky shape and color.
