Describe your all-time favorite Crossroads find.
My all-time favorite Crossroads find is a Ports 1961 denim jacket that I got from the Melrose store and wore for a past Crossroads photo shoot. It encompasses all my favorite things: denim, pattern, color-blocking, and unique details like the strap on the back
Which clothing brand(s) do you get excited to see at Crossroads?
I love seeing brands like Frame, R13, Isabel Marant, and Veja.
Describe your personal style in 5 words or less.
I would like to describe my style as classic with a modern twist!
What are your spring fashion staples?
In spring, I love to sport a pair of statement pants or denim with a great basic tee and sneakers.
What is your favorite part about working at Crossroads?
What tips do you have for selling at Crossroads?
Bring it all! I always tell sellers to bring in everything they are looking to sell because we buy for such a wide range customer base. It will also increase their chances of a higher payout.
Thanks for the Staff Style Spotlight, Jason! As Regional Support Manager, Jason has the exciting job of assisting stores companywide in creating an aesthetically appealing environment that welcomes all customers, hiring and developing fashion-focused staff, curating retail store merchandise, and working to achieve retail store financial goals. February 1, 2024 Get Sporty with a Rugby Shirt
A rugby shirt can’t help but give college campus vibes, and that’s what makes them such a fun fashion piece.
With sporty classic style making an appearance on our current selling guide, we revisited the rugby shirt this month and started scrolling our socials for outfit inspiration.
As always, rugby shirts are natural fit for baggy shorts and cuffed jeans, but what about trying it with a fringe skirt or biker shorts?
We also like to play with the two-button neckline of the shirt, sometimes opting to button up for an ultra preppy look.
Take a look at some of the outfits we added to our personal style boards.

If the sporty classic trend is not your style, we have more trends to share in our selling guide. Moody vibes, anyone?
Once you’ve decided on your outfit inspiration for the season, check your closet, clean it out, and bring in your pre-loved clothes to sell at one of our stores. You could earn cash or store credit to update your closet with new-to-you pieces.
January 30, 2024 Micro Mini Skirts Mean Spring
Micro mini skirts made major waves in the late 1960s, and they’ve remained a staple in the trend cycle ever since. They’ve seen a resurgence in the last two years, and we still expect them to see them this upcoming season.
Likely because our stores are starting to rotate their clothing styles into spring, we’ve had these adorable skirts on our minds lately. The plan: if we get our hands on them now, we’ll have them ready to kick off those first warm days of spring. Outfit ideas abound!
You can wear these minis with everything from frilly blouses to baby tees to sweatshirts. You can even play off their 60s vibe with a turtleneck and pendant necklace.
When selecting shoes, we like to pick a chunky platform, heeled boots, or loafers. Tights are our secret to wearing them well before spring is officially in the air.
Keep scrolling to see some of the looks that inspire us to keep adding micro mini skirts to our wardrobe.

January 25, 2024 5 Fun Thrift Fashion Pieces
We like to think we’re experts on the thrift fashion pieces that get shoppers excited.
Our fashion buyers buy men’s and women’s clothing and accessories from the public all day, every day. This takes place in our stores across the U.S. and in our Sell by Mail center.
These buyers take the time to learn exactly what you love to shop.
The result is store racks filled with your favorite trends, labels, and styles. We make turning that store credit you earned by selling clothes into a fun shopping experience and a refreshed wardrobe.
It’s easy to stay in-the-know. You can follow us on Instagram to see the latest pieces reaching our sales floors, including regional Instagram feeds that peek into your local stores.
Below are just some of the thrift fashion pieces that our stores have now. Any of these accessories would elevate your style this season. Take a look!

We’ve featured accessories, but you’ll also find racks and racks of pre-loved clothing. All of it curated by color for you to easily shop.
Find your local Crossroads store now and sell your clothes for cash or trade, or shop our stores for “new to you” pieces.
January 18, 2024 What’s an Apron Dress?
An apron dress is one of the most versatile pieces you’ll ever own.
If you haven’t heard of one before, an apron dress is typically a wrap-around dress with a tie-waist at front. It’s very similar to a kitchen apron and most popular in lightweight fabrics like linen.
You can wear one over anything from a turtleneck to a boatneck tee. Wear it as a simple dress, or layer one over jeans. We know you’ll find your favorite pairing.
More than anything, we absolutely adore clothing with pockets, and you can almost always count on an apron dress to include them. In addition, the wrap-around style allows you to size the dress to your personal liking. This is great when you want to layer in thicker sweaters in winter.
Keep scrolling to get some photo inspiration, then click through to our selling guide to see even more trends we love.

Look for an apron dress–or any of your favorite dress styles–at a Crossroads store location. Make sure to add one to your closet before spring!
You can even bring in pre-loved clothing to sell so you can pick one up with store credit.
