The fashion world is in full-on ‘70s revival mode, so we’re piling on the suede and fringe for that chic bohemian look. You can put together entire looks featuring layers of suede and fringe like Olivia does here:
And, here’s one way we’re taking on these two trends:
Our Fringe Shift Dress ($55) has it all and is available in stores now.
This week we are zeroing in on British model and DJ Harley Viera-Newton. Harley’s style is a combination of quirky and feminine, and it’s always absolutely charming. There is a sweetness that runs in all her looks. She sticks to mainly dresses and skirts, and her hair is often long and wavy, though every now and then she throws in some milkmaid braids that keep it fresh.
Scroll through for some of my favorite examples of Harley’s signature style.
The midi dress and skirt is one of my favorite fall trends, but it can really be a trend for any season depending on how you style it. This season, we are taking it a step further with “mid-length pants,” or culottes as they are more commonly known. The length is flattering on every body type, age, and style, and they can be dressed up or down!
There are tons of ways you can take your mid-length dresses, skirts, and pants from spring and summer to fall and winter. Here are some of my favorite looks to inspire you this season!
It’s time for everybody’s favorite fall fashion staple: the chunky knit sweater. They’re versatile, super cozy, and perfect for the transitioning weather.
Here are some of our favorite ways to style chunky sweaters for the fall season:
Play with proportion, like Jules, by pairing a chunky sweater with a jean mini.
Roll up your sleeves like Annabelle and throw on your favorite statement-making accessories for that model-off-duty look.
This week in fashion, a once not-so-loved trend came back to life—only this time, we can’t help but love it. Everyone from bloggers at LFW to celebrities at the Emmys picked up on wearing dresses over pants, and boy, are we glad they did. As far as we’re concerned, dresses over pants are rising to the top of our “must try” list for fall.
Channel Nicole’s matching set by pairing our Striped Shirt Dress ($32.50) with your favorite gingham trousers. Tip: Belting your dress is a great way to create a silhouette on shift or smock dresses.
Kiernan Shipka’s Dior ensemble rocked the red carpet at last week’s Emmy Awards. Dior’s youthful take on the dress over pants look is fun both in its choice of color and length. To recreate Kiernan’s look, we chose a shorter herringbone dress and paired it with leather-paneled trousers.
The dress over pants movement looks especially good in monochromatic tones. White on white has been a big player in this trend (made famous by Kendall Jenner in The Row), so here I chose light-washed denim pieces in oversized cuts to create a casual weekend look.
