September 3rd, 2019 by Jennifer Beile Trend Alert: Statement Sleeves and How to Wear Them

Statement sleeves are by no means a new trend, but with the arrival of fall and cooler temperatures, we’ll be wearing more sleeved tops and layers. A voluminous sleeve adds a unique flair to your fall and winter wardrobes. A statement sleeve is so much easier to pull off than other typical avant-garde trends that are reserved for red carpets and Instagram influencer content.

From big and bold to subtle details, a piece with statement sleeves is a fun way to break up the monotony of the fall uniform of sweaters and jeans and add a bit of drama to your look.

See-Thru Sleeves

A romantic blouse becomes even more eye-catching with see-thru sleeves and a statement necklace.

August 26th, 2019 by Samantha Furno 5 Trendy Denim Silhouettes on the Block

You really can’t go wrong with a great pair of denim. I mean, they are all around classic, comfortable as can be and denim makes an effortlessly-chic base to wear with absolutely any outfit. Skinny jeans will always hold a special place in my heart, but as the season is starting to change to fall, I am seeing some fresh denim silhouettes in the fashion world, and I’m definitely excited to switch my denim collection up a bit. I’ve rounded up some not-so-new, but definitely trendy, denim styles that I am anxious to add to my fall wardrobe this season!

The Flare

Flared denim is such a fantastic silhouette for instantly making your figure appear longer and leaner. Timeless, flattering and chic; talk about a denim upgrade!

Oversized & Baggy

Move over mom-jeans, oversized and baggy denim is leading the pack when it comes to the denim silhouette that will be dominating fall fashion this season!

Off-White Shades

Light denim doesn’t have to stay in your summer wardrobe! I’m looking forward to adding some beige jeans to my fall line-up as they are an excellent hue that will stand out among my darker denim this fall season.

Paperbag Jeans

I am loving the belt detail of paperbag jeans! The higher waistline makes these silhouettes the perfect style to wear with a loosely tucked in sweater or even a fitted top this coming fall season.

Denim Maxi

Feminine with a 70’s flair, denim maxi skirts are a great alternative to jeans, especially when things cool down for the fall season! It’s definitely a bit more daring in style, but fashion is all about standing out and taking risks!

August 20th, 2019 by Jennifer Beile 6 Fresh Layering Trends to Inspire Your Fall Wardrobe

As we prepare to say goodbye to summer, it’s finally time to start planning your fall wardrobe. It’s no wonder that fall is a fashion girl’s favorite season for getting dressed! The chilly temperatures mean that we are finally able to plan full outfits for the sake of style, and not for fending off sweltering temperatures or, on the other side of the spectrum once winter comes, freezing and frigid weather. One of the more fun aspects of fall fashion is playing with layering, which admittedly, can become stale without a bit of inspiration.

If you’re stuck on throwing a cardigan or a sweater over your outfit, look no further than below for fresh layering trends to inspire your fall wardrobe.

Wear Two Fall Trends at Once

Layer a classic blazer atop a trendy cardigan for a classic preppy fall look.

Double Down on Outerwear

Two jackets are better than once during the frigid chill of the fall weather. The trick to pulling off this look is to play with different fabrics, textures, and silhouettes.

Throw Your Summer Dress Over Jeans

Not quite ready to put your summer dresses away? Throw your favorite lightweight dress over a pair of jeans to give them a new life and a little extra wear.

Add a Layer Under Your Jumpsuit

My favorite year-round piece is a versatile jumpsuit and I love playing with layering when it gets colder. We all know how difficult it would be to layer too heavy on top of a jumpsuit, so put a layer underneath for a little extra warmth.

Never Underestimate Basics

A long sleeve tee will be your most versatile layering piece for the early days of fall. Layer it under a blouse, slip dress, your sweaters, etc.

Lightweight Layering for Warmer Climates

If you live in a warmer climate like me and yearn for layering but it’s still warm, throw a lightweight linen top over your dresses to change up your look for the new season.
